    • It’s easy! Sign up for an account and upload images and videos of your work. As a Mischmasch user you can present your work, connect and gather feedback from other members, and sell your work across the globe. When you’re browsing through the site and see an item you like you can give it praise by adding points to it (see below) which will increase its popularity. You can also save the item to your favorites page.
    • What do the numbers and dots mean on top of each item?
    • That’s our new “multi-points tally system”. When you see something you like you can add points to it by clicking on a set of dots, 1 dot means add 1 point, 5 dots means add 5 points...for those masterpeices!
    • How does the Popular page work?
    • The Popular page is determined by the community and constantly changes to highlight the most interesting and creative entries. Ranking on the Popular page is based on a mathematical formula, determined by both the total number of points and by the time when the work was uploaded.
    • How do I become a popular member of Mischmasch?
    • A star indicator in your profile shows your overall “popularity” on Mischmasch. We add up the votes you receive for each work uploaded, but you'll also receive one point every time you vote for someone else's work, and one point for every comment and forum post. This way your activity on Mischmasch directly affects your popularity. What goes around comes around :)

        • Alice        email        facebook        twitter
        • Founder & Painter
        • Alice is from...all over (born in China, grew up in Auckland, lived and worked as a graphic designer in New York City, London and Beijing).
        • Currently based in Hong Kong and toying with the idea of living in Song Zhuang, a remote artist village in Beijing. Alice has been working as a graphic designer since she graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2006, but is kissing her commercial and corporate clients goodbye and moving towards fine arts. Alice is also the founder of Plus A Design Ltd. Right now she is obsessing over brass instruments and travelling to Nepal.
        • Alice likes: crazy people, funny people, art on the back streets, the moldy smell of old books, and typography. Alice does not like: arrogant gallery owners.
        • Currently working on: a series of 25 paintings about the travelling artist.
        • Hilda        email        facebook        twitter
        • Video Artist & Project Coordinator
        • Who says artists should only stick to one discipline? Hilda’s work crosses the boundaries between a variety of disciplines and mediums. From film to installation, from painting to photography, personal inquiry is the soul of her work. Hilda is currently working with performance art and experimenting with the relationship between the artist and the audience. She was born in Hong Kong and has lived in the UK and USA. Hilda holds a BFA in Film Animation & Video from the Rhode Island School of Design. Hilda is in charge of Mischmasch TV.
